Beyonce Remains No. 1 For Second Week

[Rap-Up] Beyoncé had the best Christmas ever. The superstar’s self-titled album remains No. 1 for a second week on the Billboard 200.

BEYONCÉ sold an additional 374,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen Sound Scan. The visual album, which features 14 songs and 17 videos, previously debuted at No. 1 with 617,000 after only three days on sale.

In its first 10 days alone, the album has sold 991,000 copies and is the 12th biggest-selling album of 2013. However, there is one more sales week left in the year and its likely thatBEYONCÉ will finish in the top 10 and go platinum.

Prior to Christmas, physical copies arrived in stores including Walmart and Best Buy, but digital sales still trumped the physical release. Of the 374,000 copies sold, 235,000 were downloads (63%).

Elsewhere on the chart, Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2rises two spots to No. 6 (115,000), thanks in part to his Rihanna-assisted single “The Monster,” which is No. 3 on the Digital Songs chart.

B.o.B’s third album Underground Luxury enters at No. 22 with 35,000. His previous album, 2012′s Strange Clouds, debuted at No. 5 with 76,000.
