Chris, 24, thinks fame is the devil. He’s even been telling those close to him that it’s his overwhelming popularity that’s causing all of his outbursts, problems with the judicial system, and even his relationship troubles.
“Chris has always said that fame is a bi**h,” a source close to the F.A.M.E. artist EXCLUSIVELY reveals toHollywoodLife.com. “He regrets being famous and having everything handed to him.”
We’re told the singer does acknowledge that his behavior is at times not so copacetic. But the fame, we’re told, is his own worse enemy because everything comes way too easy for Breezy and he doesn’t know how to control himself.
“When sh*t comes too fast and too easy, it brings a whole lot of trouble,” the source continues. “Maybe he wasn’t prepared for all the glitz and glam that came along with his career.
“He’d much rather have the money and career and let all that fame go,” the source adds. “Nothing good ever comes from that.”
Chris Brown’s Legal Team Trying Pay Off Alleged Victim In D.C. Assault Case
As Chris continues reflecting in jail, his lawyers are working around the clock to spring him free, even if it means paying off the man he allegedly hit in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 27, 2013.
We’re told Chris’ attorneys have devised a plan to give the alleged victim cash if he agrees to drop the case.
“He would do anything to be free, anything,” Chris’ friend tells us. “Money comes and goes and Chris would do anything to get his freedom.”
