[MMAFightng] UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey took place Dec. 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC 207 official results: Amanda Nunes def. Ronda Rousey at :48 of R1 via TKO (strikes).

Round 1: Here we go. Thirteen months later, Rousey returns. She was in phenomenal shape coming in. Time to find out where she’s at. She got a very loud pop coming out. Herb Dean is the referee. They touched gloves. Little right hand from Nunes, and she’s tagging Roursey with shots. This is crazy. Nunes just slamming punches into Rousey’s face and she is nearly out on her feet. A couple more, clean hard shots, and Rousey is done. She’s done.

Amanda Nunes celebrates her victory and title defense

Amanda Nunes says it’s time for Ronda Rousey to retire.

“That’s it for her,” Nunes said Friday night after bloodying Rousey in a first-round technical knockout. “For sure, she’s going to retire.

“If she wants a rematch, I’m going to do the same thing. She can’t take my punches.”

“She’s a millionaire already,” Nunes said. “Why does she want to keep doing that? You know, keep hurting herself.

Nunes said she spoke to Rousey, 29, before they left the Octagon after the fight and she paid tribute to the former UFC bantamweight champion who has lost her last two fights after going 12-0.
