Dear Qui Talks: Waking up in Paradise!

Dear Qui Talks,

I do not remember the last time I had a good night sleep. You know, that sleep! The one you sink into the bed, all tensions in our body are released. That kink in your neck is no longer there. The ache in the middle of your back, due to stress; vanished! All of the weight of your problems are now lighter than ever. That sleep, when you lay your head, not only do you smile but your heart glows at the same time. You can actually feel your heart glowing.

Well, I can tell you I finally had that sleep. I had, what is called a “Good Night Sleep.” The best part about it, when I woke up, I smiled! I drew the curtains, made a pot of coffee, and enjoyed a steamy shower. I felt like wonder woman, ready to take on the world.

Do you remember that feeling when you had the biggest crush on someone and you found out that they liked you too? That instant glow, that instant sensation of happiness, those butterflies, and the tingles. That is the feeling I had this morning!

Problems; what problems?

Trials; where are they?

Tribulations; who?

That is how I felt this morning.

Can you believe I woke up at 7am and WENT FOR A RUN!?!? That is what waking up in paradise means. I want this feeling FOREVER!

Funny thing, I didn’t wake up in my own bed. I didn’t wake up in my own home. I didn’t rest my head on my own pillow.

Now, I can’t stop but wonder – What is wrong with my bed or home? How do I stop sharing a bed with my adversity?

Talkers, do you share a bed with your problems? Tell us! Let us know if they are not alone.
